Who maintains this web site?

Since May 2003, this site has been maintained by Steve McGehee. Starting in September 2006, it also became the ministry of my new wife - Laura.

I had been praying for a wife for many years, but could not find one. I was 53 years old, and at age 50, I gave up and resigned myself to the idea that I would spend my entire life as a bachelor. God had other plans (Do you remember hearing "Never say never"?).

Laura came to DeLand as a widow with two grown sons to attend the DeLand School of The Bible in January 2006. In what can only be described as the Hand of God, they moved almost directly across the road from my house. In February we began going for daily walks each morning, and on July 7, I asked her to marry me. We were married at The Bible Baptist Church on Saturday September 23.

Laura's full-time work will be processing the audio files found on this web site, as well as creating the sermon CDs and managing that project. She will also be working on projects in support of missionaries. I will continue working on these projects also, but will now be able to give some much-needed attention to my software business.

We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to all those who have taken the time to wish us well, and to include us in their prayers. We will close this with the scripture verse that we included on our wedding invitations:
